Along with local club trials, each year the GSSCC hosts a National event and each region will host a Regional event. During each event a Sieger Show and Breed Surveys take place for the year.

East Regional Championship & Sieger Show
Each year during the May long weekend, the East Regional Championship and Sieger Show takes place in which Schutzhund teams across the Maritimes will compete for first place. A show judge and a working judge is necessary for this event. You can attain BH and all titles at regionals as well as part take in showing your dog and if your dog qualifies also enter for a Breed Survey.
This regional event is also a pre-requisite for Schutzhund teams planning to compete at The GSSCC Canadian GSD Nationals. They must have achieved a minimum of 250 points in IGP3 in order to meet that pre-requisite. The top IGP3 dog (male or female) in work (IGP3) and in the Working Class in the Sieger Show will achieved the title Best of Best!

Canadian GSD Championship Trial & Sieger Show
Each year the GSSCC Candadian GSD Nationals take part in the end of July in which the best Schutzhund teams in Canada will participate for top place!
The top five teams will make up Team Canada for that years WUSV (German Shepherd World Championship). The Nationals will also select up to five teams that will make up Team Canada for the Universal Sieger (German Shepherd World Championship with Sieger Show).
Lastly, the GSSCC Nationals like the Regionals will have a Show Judge for a Sieger Show as well as Breed Surveys.
Only IGP1-IGP3 can be repeated but no working titles can be earned at the Canadian GSD Nationals
